"The Cloud of Unknowing" Oktober 4-22, 2023 at A2 Gallery, Helsinki

The exhibition is inspired by the meditation book The Cloud of Unknowing which was written in the 14th century in England, probably by a monk or a priest. The author states that it is fruitless to seek the truth of existence using rational thought - it must be done with love, and be a naked step into what is hidden in darkness and unknown. "Don't think - love!".

In connection with the exhibition, the book "Gunzi Holmström - maalauksia målningar paintings 2013-2023" with text by curator Juha-Heikki Tihinen was released. The book can be bought in the gallery or directly from the artist. A free digital download here!
