PAINTINGS 2018

Oil paintings from my exhibition I asked a stone to show me the way at Lapinlahden Galleria in Helsinki. The gallery which closed down 2019 was situated in a former mental hospital where artists and cultural activists of all kinds were working. It was a cultural and spiritual oasis situated in a beautiful park near the sea that functioned a couple of years until the City of Helsinki decided to sell the building. The walls in the gallery where protected by museum laws - it was prohibited to paint and restore the surface.

J O Mallander - a Finnish artist, curator and art collector wrote a text about my works (translation in Finnish, Swedish and English).
